Application for admission to PG/M.phil./PG Diploma Course


1. Admission to a course will be made on the basis of merit, subject to the rules of communal reservation. Academic record relating to part III and performance in the entrance test will be taken into account. Date and venue of entrance test will be intimated individually to the candidates.

2. The rules of reservation of seats prescribed by the Government of Tamil Nadu, 18% for SC,1% for ST, 30% for BC, 20% for MBC and Denotified Communities and 31% for Open Competition will be followed in admission to each course. Among the total number of seats in the University Departments, 2% will be reserved for outstanding sports persons and 3% for Physically Handicapped. Eligibility for sports quota is as per the norms stipulated in G.O. MS.No. 466 Education, Science and Technology (YI) Department dated 8 June 1994 Physically Handicapped Candidates are exempted from Payment of Tuition Fee.

3. Candidates selected for admission will be intimated individually by post. The University is not responsible for any delay or loss of this communication in postal transit. 4. The selected candidate should submit the following certificates in original at the time of admission.

(i). Degree Mark Statement

(ii). Degree Provisional Certificate / Original Degree or Diploma. The candidates awaiting the results need to submit mark statements up to V Semester and the Course Certificate from the Principal.

(iii). S.S.L.C

(iv). Transfer Certificate

(v). Community Certificate

(vi). Conduct Certificate

5. The University reserves the right to suspend the conduct of any course if the circumstances so
