Post M.Sc. Diploma in Radiological Physics

ADMISSION NOTIFICATION – 2009
Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission into the following
courses for the academic year 2009 -2010.
I. Post M.Sc. Diploma in Radiological Physics: This course is offered at Department
of Physics, O.U., in collaboration with MNJ Institute of Oncology & Regional Cancer
Center and Indo–American Cancer Centre, Hyderabad. Eligibility: Candidates who
have passed or appeared in final year of M.Sc. in Physics / Medical Physics / Nuclear
Physics or an equivalent course with at least 40% marks are eligible.
II. Post Graduate Diploma Courses In Healthcare: The courses are 1) Physician
Assistant 2) Medical Informatics 3) Health Insurance and Billing and 4) Emergency
Medical Care. Eligibility: The candidates who have passed or appeared in final year
exam of a bachelor degree with at least one Life Science subject are eligible for courses
1 & 4, whereas graduates in all disciplines (except Oriental languages) are eligible for
courses 2 & 3. The above courses are offered by Osmania University in collaboration
with the following recognized Hospitals located in Hyderabad and Secunderabad:
1. CARE Institute of Medical Sciences, 2. Global Hospitals, 3. Krishna Institute
of Medical Sciences, 4. Mediciti Hospitals, 5. Medwin Hospitals, 6. Shadan
Medical Institute of Medical Sciences, and 7. Yashoda Hospitals,
The application forms for above courses along with the information brochure can
be obtained from the Directorate of Admissions, Osmania University on payment of
Rs 400/- (which includes registration fee) through a Demand Draft drawn in favour of
“the Director, Directorate of Admissions, O.U., Hyderabad”. The application form
alongwith information brochure can also be downloaded from the University web-site:
www.osmania.ac.in and submit the same with a demand draft for Rs. 400/- drawn in
favour of The Director, Directorate of Admissions, O.U. The candidates are advised to
submit the filled in applications, either in person or by post, to the Director, Directorate
of Admissions, O.U., on or before 15-06-2009 by 4.00 p.m.
