It was 9:30 AM,Date 30/09/07,I was in Mumbai(Thane) to attend the interview from Mathura. The vacancy was in Electrical Engineering Deptt,For Executive Post. So,at 10:30 am sharp,I reached to the Raymond Factory.
In the visitor room there was nearly 19-20 people who had came for the same post. The peon had served us Water then morning tea with some biscuits.
At 11:30 AM the process started and first three candidates were called in the interview room. After 45 minutes they came back and another three fellows went inside the room.
I have been called in fifth round.I have entered in the room along with two more persons. The room was aroun of 15*15 size and in one corner a long table was there.Four interviwers were behind the table and we had been asked to sit on the chairs placed in front of them.
First of all they asked us about our comfort level, how we are feeling right now.We said that we are perfectly fine as all of us were completly refreshed.
The HR person then initiated the process and asked us to explain about ourselves, our family background, education and experience.
The next quetion was from IInd HR person that was why we want to change the job.
I explained him about my capabilities and the exposure I want to get to prove my potential and to get appropriate financial gain is also a major reason for job change.
Then other two persons those were of technical background asked me about my job profile in the company i am working and also asked some technical question.
After making a positive node towards me they then asked me about my expected salary.
After some small negotiations the interview ended in positive side and as a final process they sent me to meet the Director(Works).
He asked me some common question about what is my career plans, what i think about Raymond.
At 6:00 PM the whole process got finished and i received an offer letter from HR Manager explaining the terms and conditions and time period for joining.
So,this was all about my interview at Raymond.
