ABOUT THE WORKSHOP
Control and computing are essential features of any modern instrumentation and control systems. Growing requirement of control and computing has created a large space for research in instrumentation. The competition due to globalization resulted in better process control, optimum utilization of resources and higher level of automation in all industry sectors. The demand for automation is increasing day by day. The two days national workshop will originally focused to face these challenges. With Industrial case studies, the workshop will cover both fundamental concepts and advanced issues related to Instrumentation and Control. The demand for use new technical software is also increasing. Hence emphasis on measurement, testing and control using software to improve commercial, industrial, and service productivity through automation will be provided. The workshop provides all facets of technical software usage and development with hands-on training in the latest WINCC, Cimplicity and graphical system design using virtual instrumentation.
OBJECTIVES
To imbibe the knowledge, information and practical experience to the participants to seek new avenues for research and developments in the instrumentation and control areas.
To expose the participants to the emerging technology in instrumentation and control.
COURSE DESIGN
The main topics which will be covered in the training program are Programmable Logic Controller PID Control Distributed Control Systems Advanced Control and Measurement Process Automation and Control Process Instrumentation Industrial Instrumentation Industrial Automation Virtual Instrumentation SCADA Human Machine Interface Embedded Systems

Accommodation on campus will be provided on prior request at nominal cost. No traveling allowances will be provided.
