Application are invited by Institute of Mental Health and Hospital for the following posts -

1. Assistant Professor (Psychiatry)

No of posts: 04

Educational Qualification - (1) A recognized medical qualification (M.B.B.S)(2) MCI recognized M.D. in Psychiatry/Psychological Medicine or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto. (3) 3 Years teaching experience after obtaining PG qualification in the subject in a recognized medical institute/college as a Lecturer/Senior Resident/ Registrar/Demonstrator/ Tutor and/or research. Desirable: Published work in indexed Journal.

2. Assistant Professor (Clinical Psychology)

No of posts - 04

Educational Qualification - (1) Postgraduate degree in Psychology. (2) M.Phil in clinical Psychology from a recognized institute. (3) 2 years experience in an institute of Psychiatry/Mental health/Mental Hospital. P.Q. :Published research work in Indexed journals. D.Q.: Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology/Psychology.

3. Assistant Professor (Psychiatric Social Work)

No of posts - 01

Educational Qualification - (1) Post Graduate degree in Social Work/Sociology. (2) M.Phil in Psychiatric Social Work from a recognized institute. (3) 2 Years experience in an institute of Psychiatry/Mental Hospital. P.Q.: Published research work in indexed journal. D.Q.: Ph.D in Psychiatric Social Work.

4. Assistant Professor (Psychiatric Nursing)

No of posts - 01

Educational Qualification - (1) Postgraduate degree in nursing(Psychiatry). (2) 2 Years experience in an institute of Psychiatry/Mental Health/Department of Psychiatric Nursing.

5. Nursing Tutor

No of posts - 02 posts

Educational Qualification - (1) B.Sc. Nursing from a recognized institute/university.(2) 3 Years or more experience in an institute of Psychiatry/Mental Health/Mental Hospital. P.Q. : Postgraduate degree in nursing.

6. Rehabilitation Counsellor

No of posts - 01

Educational Qualification - (1) Postgraduate degree in Psychology or Social Work. (2) 3 Years or more Experience of working in a Mental Health Institute/ Psychiatric Hospital of repute. D.Q. M.Phil /Diploma in Rehabilitation Psychology.

7. Senior Resident (Psychiatry)

No of posts - 02

Educational Qualification - MD/DNB in psychiatry form recognized university /board.

8. Psychiatric Social Worker

No of posts - 03

Educational Qualification - (1) M.A. Social Work/M.S.W/M.A. Sociology (2) M.Phil in Psychiatric Social Work. P.Q.: Experience of working in Mental Health institute/ Psychiatric Hospital of Repute.

9. Lab Technician (Pathology)

No of posts - 01

Educational Qualification - (1)10+2 passed with Biology from a recognized Board. (2) Diploma in Medical Lab Technician from a recognized Institution. P.Q. :3 Years experience of working in pathology lab of repute in a psychiatric setup.

10. Accountant

No of posts - 01

Educational Qualification - (1) Degree in commerce from a recognized institute/university. (2) 5 years experience of Government/ Semi-government/Autonomous agency in accounting/Budgeting/auditing/cash and general financial matters. P.Q.: (1) Postgraduate degree in commerce. (2) Knowledge of computer based accountancy.

11. Computer Programmer

No of posts - 01

Educational Qualification - (1) Bachelor Degree in Science. (2) Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Application from a recognized Institute/University. (3) At least 5 years Experience of Hospital based data Operation/Programming.

12. Office Assistant cum Record Keeper

No of posts - 03

Educational Qualification - (1) Graduate Degree from a recognized University. (2) 5 Years Experience of Record Keeping in a Medical/Psychiatric institute of repute. P.Q.: Knowledge of Computer Typing in Hindi/English.

13. Vocational Instructor

No of posts - 02

Educational Qualification - (a) Carpentry (Reserved for SC category) :E.Q.: (1) High School or equivalent qualification from recognized Board of education. (2) ITI certificate in carpentry. P.Q.:2 Years working experience as carpenter.

(b) Tailoring (for General Category): E.Q.: (1) High School or equivalent qualification from recognized Board of education. (2) ITI certificate in Tailoring .P.Q.: 2 Years working experience as tailor.

Application Fee : The candidates should submit an application fee of Rs. 750/-(Rs. 350 for SC/ST) through DD drawn in favor of the Director, Institute of Mental Health and Hospital, Agra, Payable at Agra.

Application in the prescribed format should reach the Institute on or before 30/07/2009.
