My Wipro Interview experience

I would like here to share my evergreen memory of attending my Wipro interview which was held in the third year of my B.E degree
As everyone, clearing aptitude needs hard work and a bit of luck too..So after clearing aptitude i had a technical interview and a general HR.
Technical interview:

There were 6 panels being held at different locations of my college. I was supposed to attend the 6th panel of technical interview.
When i was called in by my college senior to attend the technical interview he wished me with good luck.
Then i walked into that room with great confidence and a gentle walk. Because the walking style plays a major role in determining a person's confidence by the interviewer.
Wishing him Good Morning i was asked to take my seat and i sat on the chair not on the edge but comfortably. This is noted very carefully. Then i was looking at the interviewer but he was looking my senior who was getting the so far results from him. His table was with a laptop and papers and full amount of snacks.
Then my interview started(I gave my resume to him)
Interviewer: Sudha right..
Me: Yes Sir
Interviewer:Ok Sudha its me Ashok a TL of Wipro Tech.,Then Sudha tell me everything about yourself your family,background, your +s,-s,hobbies etc etc... I want to know a complete picture of what is Sudha..
Me:I told my name, my family member's name and occupation, my positive points and my hobbies.(I did not attempt to tell my negatives because this may raise a whole lot of questions and can degrade myself too until he asks)
Interviewer:Ok then where did you do your schooling? What is your hometown?
Me: Madurai only
Interviewer:So you haven't gone out of Madurai leaving parents for education?
Me: Yes Sir
Interviewer:Ok where did you do your schooling?
Me: I did in SJHSS.
Interviewer:Oh great. My cousin is studying in St. Mary's which is near to St.Mary's church it seems that is near your school?
Me:Yes Sir. In fact my mother too studied there.
Interviewer:Then i heard that since it is run by sisters it will be strict..
Me: No sir it is such a good school teaching us not only education but also inculcating good habits in us.
Interviewer:Oh ok. Then how was yesterday's apti? How was the feedbacck among you pals?
Me: Really it was good and there was good standard too.
Interviewer:'Standard' means say frankly come out..
Me: That means it was a bit tough and only talented and hard working people could make it up..
(He was operating his laptop in between and when i noted him he said "you just carry on I am here")
Interviewer:Ok Sudha then do you know 'C'?
Me:Yes sir
Interviewer:what programs do you know?
Me:I told factorial, fibonacci etc kind of simple stuffs..
Interviewer:Dont you think even a polytechnic diploma student will know this..Does it require a B.E degee?
(I smiled at him)
Interviewer:Ok do you know Data Stuctures?
Me: Yes sir and since i am an ECE student i had that subject in my curriculum in third sem.
Interviewer: Ok what is stacks, queues and Linked Lists?
Me: I said the definition
Interviewer:Then do you know sorting? If yes, what are the sorting techniques?
Me: I answered
Interviewer:Can you write me the code of Bubble Sort?
(He gave me a paper and pen)
Me: I don't know exactly sir..I could write but it should be correct na?
Interviewer:No bother..You write..
(I have heard that whether we know it or not we should give our try when the Interviewer requests us..So i starting merging simple codes and started writing. That time our face must be quite relaxed which he will be noticing keenly)
Interviewer:Ok can you explain me
Me: (I explained whatever i knew from that code)
Interviewer:Ok leave it why do you think digital electronics is so important?
Me: I explained with the computers in day today life and he got satisfied
Interviewer:What is mux,demux, encoder and decoder?
Me: I told just the definitions and he said ok
Interviewer:Do you know Computer networks?
Me: Not fully sir since we are learning only in this sem
Interviewer:Ok but i think you would have known the OSI layers and its applications? If so explain me concisely
Me: I explained each and every layer neatly and he was keenly observing
Interviewer:Ok as per your resume you have done a mini project on metal detector isn't it?
Me: Yes sir in my fifth semester
Interviewer:Ok what is it for?
Me: I clarified whether he has asked its working and i explained very well..At that time he was doing his work and told me to continue and he was checking my communication skill
Interviewer:Ok Sudha then what will you do if you don't get job here?
Me: Sir no regrets because actually i have spent this half an hour gaining knowledge from you which is a great pleasure. Otherwise it wouldnt have happened and my friends are waiting outside to rejoice my result either positive or negative.
And one thing sir if am not selected now i will surely try for Wipro in off-campus. I am that much fascinated by Wipro.
Interviewer: OK THEN I WILL SELECT YOU!!!
Me: Sir...
Interviewer:He said the same..
Me: Thank you very much sir
(He smiled and gave a green card which he told to take up to HR)
(I was really happy when i came out that room and my senior congratulated and my friends rejoiced and i was directed to the HR room)
HR Round:
--------
It was very simple with only three questions.When we were waiting outside our seniors consoled upon us and boosted us.
I entered the room when i was called upon
HR: Good afternoon
Me:Wished him and gave my resume
HR: Ok self introduce yourself
Me: I did my level best(At that time he was searching for something down but he was noticing whether i am being disturbed and being interrupted)
HR: Ok explain the working of your mini project..
Me:I explained fluently because in technical too i was asked the same question.(At that time he was constantly looking upon my eye sight whether it is direct eye to eye contact)
HR: Ok what do you do to become a software engineer?
ME: I go to computer classes to be updated with latest courses. Then as my parents advise me i think every place as a software concern and work with utmost care and sincerity.
HR: Ok will you work in any part of India?
Me: Yes sir.
HR: Ok you may go..
Me: I thanked him and walked out of the room.
(On coming out of the room i heard that many in panel no:6 of technical interview got rejected and i was lucky to get selected.Then I waited for results till 6:30 in the evening)
At last the result is I got Selected!!!
