Lohitha Das entered the Malayalam film industry as a script-writer through the film Thaniyaavardhanam. A. K. Lohithadas is a prolific screenwriter and director in Malayalam cinema, known for his rich, detailed, and realistic screenplays. He died due to a massive heart attack. Keeridam is one of his finest movie that showcased Mohanlal's one of the best performance. Lohithadas has some of the greatest malayalam movies like Thaniavarthanam, Kireedam, His Highness Abdullah, Bharatham, Kamaladalam, Venkalam.
