NIRD - Vacancies

Application are invited by NATIONAL INSTITUTE OF RURAL DEVELOPMENT for the following posts -
1. Assistant Registrar: 02 Posts (On deputation basis, not exceeding three years)
Essential:i)A degree from a recognised University
ii) Minimum 5 years experience in a responsible/supervisory/
administrative position in Govt./quasigovernment/
academic/autonomous organisation.
iii) Fully conversant with the Govt. rules and regulations/office
procedures and administrative matters/maintenance of accounts,
stores, purchase procedures, maintenance of equipment and supply/
estate maintenance.
Desirable:
Post Graduation/Degree in Law/ Master in Business
Administration(MBA)/Degree or Diploma in Personnel
Management from a recognised University.
Note: In case of persons with high academic qualifications such as
MBA, personnel management, qualifications prescribed at item (ii)
and (iii) may be relaxed.
2. Assistant Financial Adviser & pay and Accounts Officer(AFA&PAO): 01 Post (On deputation basis, not exceeding three years)
Essential : Accounts Officers with not less than six years of service (Indian
Audit & Accounts Department) or in other Accounts Organizations
in the Ministries/Departments of the Govt. of India (controlled by
the Comptroller & Auditor General of India, Controller General of
Defence Accounts, Ministry of Railways, Department of Posts etc.)
3. Deputy Director (Official Language): 01 Post (Direct Recruitment)
Essential : 1) A first or high second class Master’s degree in Hindi with
English as an elective subject at the degree level and with a
Doctorate in Hindi from a recognized University
2) Seven years of experience of original writing as indicated by
published work or terminological work in Hindi or translation work
from English to Hindi and vice-versa.
3)Adequate knowledge of Sanskrit
4) Seven years of experience in translation of Social Science
research material or material of equivalent nature.
5) Proven ability in editing and bringing out publications in Hindi in
large organizations preferably dealing with Social Sciences.
Desirable:
1) Experience of organizing workshops, seminars etc. in Hindi
2)Administrative Experience
3) Knowledge of any other modern Indian Language.
Note : Persons with disabilities of both legs affected (BL), one leg
affected (OL) (R and/or L), one arm affected ( OA) (R or L) and
partially deaf (PD) can also apply for the post.
4. Jr. Engineer (Civil): 01 Post
Essential: The Junior Engineers or other Engineers of equivalent rank working
for more than three years in Civil Wing of any Govt. Department or
Organization are eligible to apply.
5. Jr. Hindi Translator: reserved for SC category
Essential Qualifications:1. Master’s Degree in English/ Hindi with Hindi/ English as a compulsory and elective subject at Degree level or Bachelor’s
Degree with Hindi and English as main subjects (which includes the
term compulsory and elective).
2. Two years of experience in translation work from English to
Hindi and vice-versa.
3. Experience in proof reading and handling production of
publications in Hindi.
6. Nursing Orderly: 01 Post
Essential : Middle School pass with first aid certificate
from Recognized Institute plus one year’s experience.
