IIT Mumbai - International Conference on Nano Science and Technology

An International Conference on Nano science and Technology (ICONSAT-2010) is to be held at I.I.T. Bombay, Mumbai, INDIA during February 17-20, 2010. This Conference, sponsored by the Nano Mission, Department of Science and Technology (DST), Govt. of India, is the fourth in series following ICONSAT-2003 held in December 2003 at Kolkata, ICONSAT-2006 held in March 2006 at New Delhi and ICONSAT-2008 held in February 2008 at Chennai. The conference will provide an opportunity for students, researchers, technologists and entrepreneurs to interact on the current developments and future trends in the multidisciplinary area of nanoscience and nanotechnology.
A one day satellite workshop is planned on 17th febrauary, 2010 on Cancer and Nanotechnology: Therapeutics and Diagnostics.
ICONSAT-2010 will deliberate on the front line areas of Nano Science and Technology that include
* Novel Synthetic Methods
* Fabrication and Devices
* Functional materials
* Materials for Food and Environment
* Electronics, Magnetics & Photonics
* Materials for Energy
* Hybrids
* Technology for Medicine

Registration : October 15, 2009
Abstract Submission : October 15, 2009
Acceptance of Abstracts : November 15, 2009
