Refund of fees from educational Institutions.

In order to prevent the commercialization of educational institutions ALL INDIA COUNCIL FOR TECHNICAL EDUCATION has issued the following instructions..
No Institute is allowed to :
1. Retain the fees (Both tuition/academic and hostel fees) of a student who wishes to withdraw and vacate his/her seat.
2. To confiscate important ORIGINAL CERTIFICATES OR DOCUMENTS that the student needs.
In case a student wants to withdraw from a institute for reason the institute has to refund the entire fees after the deduction of Rs. 1000 only.His/her seat should be given to waitlisted student.
Any institute not complying with the AICTE guidelines will face stern action including withdrawal of recognition.
