The lecturers of ABV Government Degree College in Jangaon town of Warangal district have donated Rs. 5,000 to the tribal girl Pittala Nagalaxmi of Kamampalli village of Manthani Mutharam mandal on Wednesday.

After the seeing the plight of the Nayakapodu tribal girl published in these columns on Saturday, the lecturers J. Rajaram and Cheetur Narsimhlu with the help of other lecturers collected Rs. 5,000 and handed over the same to the girl in Karimnagar town on Wednesday in the presence of Joint Collector K Sashidhar.

On this occasion, the Joint Collector lauded the gesture of Government lecturers for contributing their mite for the Engineering education of the tribal girl.

He advised the tribal girl to study hard and excel in her education.
