Three Best Ways to Stay Cool
Sometimes we get angry or frustrated depending upon various situations and do more mistakes in the heat of the mind. These cool tips will help you cool down in such moments.
Step 1. Anger is Universal: We should clearly understand that the anger is a Universal concept. It is shown in humans also in animals & birds even. So try to understand it and let it go in such way that it does not hurt anybody. It's having only one way to react i.e always or never. Choose the later part, the problem is over.
Step 2. Question yourself: Ask yourself that whatever made you angry is important or not. Is what you are thinking and feeling appropriate to the situation? Can you change the situation by yourself? or Is it worth to take any action?
Step 3. Talk yourself Down: Shout "Stop" to yourself (silently) when you start replaying an offense, distract yourself from the object, take deep breathe, clench your fist, breathe out and release fist. It's over and anger is gone.

The author has chosen a very good subject for discussion, i.e., anger management techniques. Uncontrollable anger has caused many painful incidents all over the world. The pyschologists are now giving stress on various anger management techniques. Some of the techniques followed for this purpose are indicated below very briefly:-
(i) Count upto 10: Counting upto 10 gives a person time to cool down,
(ii) Breathe slowly: The person must breathe out for longer than he breathes in and relax.
(iii) Exercise can help to control anger: A person can bring down his/her general stress levels with exercise and relaxation. But it is a technique for long-term anger management.
There are various other anger management techniques. I expect that the author will write a detailed article on this very relevant issue.
These are very good tips the author has mentioned. I'd like to add a few more:-
1. Scream as loud as you can:- Many times it happens that, we get angry about a thing but can't do anything about it. The anger keeps on building and we end up really frustrated. In this scenario, a way to let that frustration out is scream as loud as you can. Go to an isolated place if possible where no one can listen to you and just scream, keep on screaming for some time. If you can't find some isolated place, press against a pillow and scream. After a time, you'll start feeling better. I know this sounds a bit weird but believe me, it works.
2. Talk to a friend:- The best way to calm yourself down is to let everything out. We must talk to a friend who understands us very well and will listen to our problems without judging us. Talk about everything that is bothering you and making you angry. After letting everything out, you will feel really relaxed and can focus on the important things.
