ADMISSION NOTICE
The Directorate of Open and Distance Learning, University of Kalyani, under financial assistance from Distance Education Council (New Delhi) offers the following courses under Distance Mode of learning for the academic session 2007-2008
Post-graduate Degree Courses: Duration two years;
1. M.A in Bengali, English, History: Hons./General Graduates (3 years. Degree Courses) having minimum of 300 marks in the relevant subjects from any AIU recognized university.
2. M.A in public Administration (Suitable for candidates aspiring for competitive administrative examinations): Hons./General Graduates (3 years. Degree Courses) having minimum of 300 marks in subject like Political Science from any AIU recognized university.
3. M.A in Education: Hons. /General Graduates (3 years. Degree Courses) having minimum of 300 marks in the concern subject/3 years. Degree Courses of any other discipline along with B. Ed from any AIU recognized university.
Post-graduate Diploma Courses: Duration one years;
1. Mass Communication, Journalism: Graduates of 3 years. Degree Courses in any discipline from any AIU recognized university.
2. Environmental Management: 3 years. Degree Courses Science Graduates (Physical/Life Science) from any AIU recognized university.
Fee: For all P.G. Degree Courses-Rs.2500/-for each part.
For all P.G. Diploma Courses-Rs.8500/-
Interested candidates may collect the Prospectus cum-Admission form from the office of the Directorate of open and Distance Learning (DODL), B-12/195,Kalyani, Nadia, W.B. against a payment of Rs.100/-. Candidates intending to receive the same by post is supposed to send a self-addressed envelope (20.24 cm) along with a Bank Draft of Rs.150/- in favour of “Directorate of open and Distance Learning , University of Kalyani ” payable at Kalyani .Form-cum- Prospectus is available on all working days from 10.00 A.M. to 3 P.M.(except Sunday and holiday ).Duly filled in forms along with attested documents and three passport size photograph are to be submitted to the Directorate office, B-12/195,Kalyani, Nadia. Enrolment will be issued after scrutiny of forms and other attested documents.
Last date of issue and submission of forms:
(a) From 01.07.07 to 28.09.07.
(b)From 01.10.07.to 31.10.07.with late fee of Rs.200/-.
