Pinceton is second only to Haravard and also a member of Ivy League association. Read further to know more about the University
Princeton University, second to Harvard for most disciplines, is also a member of the renowned Ivy League association. It sports a dynamic community that excels in scholarship and learning that stands‘in the nation's service and in the service of all nations’. Founded in 1746, it was formerly known as the College of New Jersey.
In 1896, it was renamed to Princeton University and henceforth has earned the position of fourth oldest college in USA. Currently, 1140 faculty members work closely with Princeton's 4,700 undergraduate students and 2,000 graduate students -- with an amazing ratio of full-timestudents to faculty members of 5.6 to 1. Its alumni include two presidents (Woodrow Wilson and James Madison), 44 governors and hundreds of legislators. The University, which has 5,500 benefits-eligible faculty and staff, is Mercer County's largest private employer as it plays an important role in enhancing the educational, cultural and economic experiences of the area. (Source: Princeton University website) One unique feature of Princeton University is that it focuses its resources more on undergraduates than graduates. The university takes pride in having one of smallest enrollments as compared to other Ivy League universities. This fact allows unparalleled faculty contact as there are fewer graduate students that require attention and guidance. Having contact with faculty, that are receipients of the Nobel Prize in physics, literature, economic sciences and medicine, at the undergraduate level is almost unheard of and is a truly amazing educational experience. In addition to this, Princeton is a premier institute of scientific research and has top of the line facilities such as collaborative Plasma Physics Laboratory. Princeton however, does not offer business or law degrees. Schools at Princeton: The Graduate School The School of Architecture The School of Engineering and Applied Science (SEAS) The Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs Study of the Humanities and the Life Sciences Study of the Arts - Music Study - Creative Writing - Theater and Dance - Visual Arts Tuition at Princeton is set at about $29,900 and financial aid is available for admitted students. The Ivy League Association of Southern California ("ILASC") was formed over twenty years ago by the Los Angeles County/Southern California area alumni/ae clubs of the Ivy League colleges. It is a California, non-profit corporation with tax exempt status under Section 501(c) of the Internal Revenue Code.
ILASC serves as a liaison organization and as a communication network for its member alumni/ae clubs, the Ivy League and Seven Sister alumni/ae clubs of Southern California.
It provides increased visibility for the activities and events of its member alumni/ae clubs across club boundaries by offering a central electronic medium where member alumni/ae clubs can communicate with each other about their interests, promote their activities and events to a large receptive audience and offer their alumni/ae and club members a year round calendar of exceptional and interesting events and activities.
I hope this helps you understand.
