GENERAL BAZAAR Description General bazaar in the twin cities Hyderabad - Secunderabad is quite famous for its shopping area. It is located in secunderabad, MG road. One can avail this place for shopping to the fullest. The market over here is the best for all kinds of people and for all occasions. You can get any required item from clothing to jewelery here. There are various shops offering unmatchable variety in this place. There are outlets available here to serve all of you. There are many shops like Kathiawar stores, Jockey show room , Off the rack, Rithika, Tanzeb, Taruni which are famous for its quality and quantity. And there are many small shops which contain wide variety of clothing. Mainly there are many silver and gold shops also present over here. And many wholesalers available in this market area. In clothing the variety is innumerable all types of clothes are found over here. * Sarees with zardosi work, sarees with plain self works, plain sarees, patch works, kanchi pattu sarees, venkatagiri sarees, gadwal sarees, bengali cotton sarees, graden sarees, printed cotton sarees, samudrika pattu sarees, and etc etc almost each and every variety of sarees are found in around general bazaar. * In dress materials also different varieties are found over here like type of wear differs from college wear, daily wear, party wear. In those varieties there are number of unmatchable patterns which are similar in varieties of sarees. The famous shops for dress materials are "Taruni", "Rithika", "Tanzeb", "Cheapjack", etc etc the list goes on and on..... Number of outlets of each shop in and around general bazaar Taruni - 4 outlets Rithika - 4 outlets Cheap Jack - 3 outlets These shops also provide designer wear * In western wear also there are many shops present here like "Off the rack" which serves the best wear in the western style, full to posh variety is available here. And the materials needed for stitching, embroidery work, tailoring are avaialbe in number of outlets in nominal amount of cost. Decorative household items are also available in various outlets and the price range of those kind of items ranges from Rs 10 to more than Rs 5000. Wholesale shops like book shops, stationary and all are also available. Footwear is also available in different ranges affordable by normal people to rich people. There are number of Silver shops present over here which has unmatchable varieties from one shop to the other. The fine work of their "karegers"(worker) is so beautiful. Lots of variety like dining sets, lamps, plates glasses, and every possible item with silver are found here for all kinds of customers. Gold shops are also present in number. The most famous shop of them from years together is "Manepalli" which serves almost every item of gold and diamonds. The work of these people is unmatchable to any other. Th finest art of the design is beautiful. There are whole sale shops of utensils in steel, aluminium, copper, plastics etc etc... Main thing i forgot to tell you all is the fashion normal jewelry is also available here which is liked by each and every girl. Price range of these fashion jewelery ranges from Rs 5 to more than Rs 1000. The basic necessities like bands, stickers, all make up set are available here. And last but not the least there are famous food items present over here like sev puri, sandwich, dahi puri, cutlet etc etc which should be tasted by everyone who come here... If i go on saying like this the place here is not usfficient so you try to visit by yourself and than experience the shopping here. So guys enjoy shopping in General Bazaar.......

Hi I agree with your opinion on General Bazaar in Secuderabad. Infact General Bazaar is the second largest wholesale market after Begum Bazaar. The shopping items offered by the bazaar include household items, kids articles and bangles. Adjacent to General Bazaar is the tobacco bazaar, the second biggest saree wholesale market in Karnataka. bazaar.txt

But what bothers me most that there is no parking place at all to shop at General Bazar....the bazar is so narrow that we cannot even walk...but ladies do shop here for best discounts and wide varieties....

There is a parking space alloted near and around the Gandhi statue there. Of course it is not the huge parking space but it cam be sufficient on all the days. It is a bit difficult in the festive season. And General Bazar is market area and it is not a shopping complexes to provide parking space for all of the people. There are several shopping arcades over there together.
