You must have seen lots of animation movies but can you imagine how these animated characters have born. Today you will find animation almost everywhere like Movies, Games, Mobile, advertisements etc. All these animation has come from Multimedia industry.
Have you ever imagine that the cartoon characters like Tom and Jerry, Superman, Mickey Mouse and Donald duck that are favorite cartoons of everybody are just a part of multimedia animation.
Know let me explain what is Multimedia; it is a mixture of art and technique. You can do so many works using multimedia like Website Designing, Creating Animation, Adding special effects and creating digital video etc.
It is assumed that today multimedia is a 250 billion industry and in next few years it will reach to 700 million. These days there is multiple carton channels are coming on TV presenting carton Mythological serials like Ramayana, Mahabharat, Hanuman etc, and there are other serials are also coming as well like Mickey Mouse, Tom and Jerry etc.
India has also created his own space in Animation industry around the globe now, and movies created in India are now being shown all over the world.
There are multiple options in animation industry where you can make your career. There are so many institutes, which provide small and long-term courses of multimedia animation. If you want to do long-term course, which takes around 2-3 years then you, will have to pay around 2 lakh rupees and small course can be done in around 20-25 thousand. The course fee depends on the institute and city where you are going to join.
Wigan and Leh institute is one of the best institute which helps their students in make career in abroad, but for that they charge very high fee.
There are multiple positions available in studios for animators like Director, Animator, cleanup Artist, compositors, etc. So it is not hard to get a job for a good animator.
The expense to prepare an animation movie is less in India as compare to abroad, this is the reason that companies in abroad are out sourcing India for making animation movies.
