81 teachers suspended Dehra Dun, Sep 24 : Eighty one teachers were suspended after they were found absent without prior permission in their respective schools in different areas of Garhwal region. Education officials carried out a surprise check in 555 schools. All 81 teachers were absent without taking prior permission. Many students were also found absent from the school during the checking. Education Secretary Rakesh Kumar has issued orders to suspend the absent teachers. First Information Reports will also be registered against the principals of the schools where irregularities were found.
