Transfer and posting/reallocation of works orders for as many as 21 IAS/MCS/MSS officers were issued by the state department of personnel and administrative reforms, today.
Among others, senior IAS officer DS Poonia, who had earlier been placed under compulsory wait, has been appointed as principal secretary (health/family welfare/power) while Dr Suhel Akhtar, commissioner, disaster management and relief, has been released for undergoing foreign training.
DV Singh, who earlier wore the twin hats of special resident commissioner, Manipur Bhavan, New Delhi, and principal secretary (planning/power/tourism), will now only be the special resident commissioner, Manipur Bhavan, New Delhi.
PBO Warjiri, principal secretary, home, will take additional charge of planning.
MOBC has been removed from PC Lamkunga, principal secretary (TD/hills/commerce and industries/MOBC), and allocated to I S Laishram, who is currently commissioner (RD&PR).
P Sharatchandra, principal secretary (FCS/Hr & Tech Edn/Revenue), will now be in-charge of sericulture in addition, as well as ex-officio director (higher education), while FCS has been removed from him and reallocated to LP Golmei, currently commissioner (GAD).
MA Sattar, commissioner (Eco & Stats/Sericulture), will now handle Eco & Stats and Adult Education.
H Imocha Singh, commissioner (co-opn/transport) and RCS, will now function as ex-officio director, transport in addition.
P Vaiphei, secretary(health/family welfare) has been appointed secretary (disaster management and relief).
BB Sharma, secretary, adult education and director of tourism, will function as both secretary, tourism, and director, tourism.
T Sitlou, director transport and IPR, will now be director, IPR only.
M Laxmikumar, joint resident commissioner, Manipur Bhavan, New Delhi, has been appointed as director (printing and stationeries) and ex-officio joint secretary (GAD/sericulture).
Maranchan Luikham, secretary state election commission, and director (printing and stationeries) will function only as secretary, state election commission.
M Joy Singh, director (SLUB) and ex-officio joint secretary (MAHUD/sericulture), will function as director (SLUB) and ex-officio joint secretary (MAHUD).
Among MSS officers, Joy R Naga, deputy secretary, (GAD, will function as dy secretary (GAD/TD/Hills), Nengjachin, under secretary (TD/Hills) as under secretary (hort & SC), Lalthanglun, under secretary (social welfare/sericulture, as under secretary (seri/labour), P Nongyai, under secretary (health/labour/PHED) as under secretary (health/PHED/social welfare) and L Tampha Devi, under secretary (hort & SC) as under secretary (higher and technical education).
