The main objectives of this conference are:
To gain a deeper understanding of current industry practices and challenges in GSCM and the role of emerging economies
To provide a platform to identify and bridge the gap between industry practices and academic research in GSCM.
We invite researchers and practitioners from diverse disciplines of management and policy making to participate in the conference. In addition to the academic research papers, we encourage papers based on collaborative work between practitioners and academics. Notwithstanding the methodology employed the papers must attempt to develop new insights in the theme, clarify certain issues pertaining to GSCM, aid in new theory development or generate discussion on potential areas that require more detailed study in the future.
