“Recent Advances in Nano science” (RANS-2008)

We take immense pleasure in inviting you for the national seminar on
“Recent Advances in Nano science” (RANS-2008) as the part of our University Golden
Jubilee Celebrations.
Organizers:
Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University, sub-center Osmanabad,
established in 16th August, 2004. Presently, the sub-center is running six various courses
including Chemistry, Microbiology, Biotechnology, English, Education, Water & Land
Management.
Ramkrishna Paramhansa Mahavidyalaya, Osmanabad established in 1959
under the guardianship of Shri. Swami Vivekanand Shikshan Sanstha, Kolhapur, and
affiliated to Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University, Aurangabad.
We are striving to provide quality education and committed to inculcate
academic excellence right from the inception. Our students have proved their merit by
winning awards and maintaining top ranks in University examinations and Extra
Curricular Activities viz. National Seminars, Conferences, Workshops and Training
Programmes in the field of Science & Technology. Students from our Department are
well placed in reputed Industries and Research Institutes.
Objective:
The objective of this seminar is to bring together the Expert Chemists
(inorganic, organic, physical, polymer) and Physicists actively involved in the research
field of new materials for magnetic and optoelectronic properties and also Biologists for
the design and the development of Bio-Nano devices,
to focus on the properties of Nano-objects leading to advanced functional materials, to
analyze the relationship between the molecular or hybrid object and the macroscopic
properties resulting from their assembly into thin films or onto the surfaces, to establish
the state of the art in the field and to open perspectives for the development of new
functional or multifunctional materials especially regarding the technological needs.
