DUARSINI :
Duarsini is located in Purulia which marks the border of Jharkhand with West Bengal. Duarsini is a village of hills and forest. The nature grows beautifully
with the tribals of jangal mahal. The forest is made of shal, pial, shimul and palash. and the river Satgurang is with them. At night you will hear the music
of madol,drum which is come out from the tribal village. Their festival have or not every night you heard the beautiful music. They have lot of festivals all over the year.
Actually Duarsini is a small tribal village which is made up of forest-hills and God gift nature. The natural beauty of Duarsini is excellent, non describable. There are many useful harbal is found here. People who are reaserching with natural harbal, this forest based hill place is heaven for them. It is also a good place for the nature lover. You will visit by walking in the tribal village. Sometimes a group of elephants come out from Dalma for visiting here. Duarsini's beauty realy attracted you. You may spare your time by sitting the side of the river satgurung. The river is flowing towards a unknown destination. Its amazing. so It is very calm and superb tour for weekend.
How To Go:
Ispat express from Howrah at 6.55 am and get down at Ghatshila or Galudi. From Ghatshila to Duarsini is only 20 km.and from Galudi to Duarsini is 13km. You
have to take a car for rent from ghatshila. It will Rs.500/600. From kolkata to Duarsini is 178 km.
Where To Stay :
The only place that you can stay here at forest bunglow of West Bengal forest department. This bunglow is look like a tribal cottage. Villagers employed by WBFDC will take care of your food and other needs. For booking you may contact
