Vettaikaran Set To Release On December 18th

The much awaited Vijay's Vettaikaran is set to release on December 18th, 2009.The film 'Kadhalluku Mariyadhai' which made him a star and also bagged him a Tamil Nadu state government awward was also released during Christmas.So the actor is very confident that it will be a blockbuster hit for him this year.
As per sources the market leader(Sun Pictures) who has revolutionized the way films are made, wanted some reshooting as they were not happy with the final product. Now there is a deadlock as the producer and Vijay are not very keen on a reshoot, while Sun Pictures who has the final say is insisting on some changes.This is the main reason for the delay of the film.However the film has cleared by the censor board with UA certificate.
With the music already making a bang, lets hope the film will hit the screens and make a come back for Vijay.
