Glenfiddich distillery wine and dine

Scotland is famous for none other than its Scotch Whisky! One such distillery is Glenfiddich.

Scotch Whisky Distilleries have been among one of tourist attractions. Glenfiddich is place of rolling grasslands where there is smell of whisky in air, rains pouring in sometimes.
Scotch Whisky Distilleries are now turning in fine dining destinations at Glenfiddich distillery in Duff Town!!

Evolution from home made meals to fine dining
Initially few decades back, lot of tourists came to distilleries, they were offered small snacks. This was done as part of Spanish hospitality.
When people started coming from across all world, they were offered hot meals as well.

As distilleries were quite far away from towns, hot meals was started as hospitality gesture to attract more tourists. Wives of distillery workers would prepare the meals with local produce.

Soon these meal counters evolved into small cafes offering soups, sandwiches, roasts and steaks. Gradually this gave way to elaborate and fine dine.

Now you can have variation of soups mashes, scones and coffee. Dinner with different type of Whisky each time is simply great.
