I was in College of Textile Technology from 1980 to 1984. In those days I enjoyed my college as well as hostel life fully. After 1984 I joined Textile Industry. From 1984 to 1995-96 I used to information about my college regularly. But now-a-days I am totally in dark about my beloved College. Even 2-3 years back I had a plan to go to my college with my family. But now I think that it is impossible. At present nobody will recognize me there. I don't know what to do.

Hi Dhananjay
What you have written is so very true. Actually, your memory of your college is just not a building or its surrounding - humankind makes an integral part of it. You remember many incidents, many sweet moments associated with it. In everyone of them one or more persons are associated - your teachers, fellow students, college employees, the roadside tea-stall owner. Time has taken them away from your life and given you new friends. So the college you are planning to visit is just a cage without the bird - that is bound to be painful. This is why we should enjoy only the present and forget the past. I understand how much you are attached to your college and appreciate your feelings - but you must learn to get over it.
