Normally parents take care of their children. There have been several families where parents fail to look after their children due to various untold reasons prevailing in the families in India and abroad.
In India, in such cases, grand parents are taking care of the grand children till they live or till the
grand children come of age. I am a living example. I lost my son in his 40s in 2000. I brought up his children. I am now 82. I solemnized the marriage of my grand daughter. Grand son's marriage is to be arranged. There are several families like that. So besides Father's day on 19/6 and a Day of Elderly on 1st October, let a Day be allotted by U.N.O. for Grand Parents as well in a year taking my name as example.
