Recruitment of Junior Research Fellow / Senior Research Fellow
Applications are invited for one JRF/SRF to work in the project entitled “Single crystal EPR studies on paramagnetic hosts doped with paramagnetic transition metal ions” funded by the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research, Human Resource Development Group, Govt. of India. Applications on a plain paper with the following details: Name, Address, Date of Birth, NET/GATE result, Nationality, Educational Qualifications (SSLC onwards) may be sent to: Prof. P. Sambasiva Rao, Principal Investigator, Department of Chemistry, Pondicherry University, Puducherry – 605 014 or email to psr52in@yahoo.co.in on or before February 26, 2008. The selected candidate may be permitted to register for Ph.D. program. No TA/DA will be paid to attend the interview.
Qualifications: The minimum educational qualification is M.Sc. (Chemistry) with minimum of 55% marks and the NET/GATE qualification is desirable. The fellowship is for a period of about three years and fellowship amount is: JRF: Rs. 8000/-p.m. + HRA and SRF: Rs. 9,000/- p.m. + HRA (to be enhanced).
