Recruitment of Project Jr. Research Fellow in a CSIR sponsored project in Dept of Chemistry

Applications are invited for one JRF to work in the project entitled “Conformationally Rigid Amino Acids: Synthesis and their Application towards the Designing of New Chiral Ligands” funded by the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research, Human Resource Development Group, Govt. of India. Applications on a plain paper with the following details: Name, Address, Date of Birth, NET/GATE result, Nationality, Educational Qualifications (SSLC onwards – enclose attested copies of certificates) may be sent to: Dr. C. R. Ramanathan, Principal Investigator, Department of Chemistry, Pondicherry University, Puducherry – 605 014 on or before February 25, 2008.
Qualifications: The minimum educational qualification is M.Sc. (Chemistry) with minimum of 55% marks and the NET/GATE qualification is desirable. The fellowship is for a period of two years and fellowship amount is Rs. 8,000/-pm. + HRA.
