Application are invited for admission to
(1) MBBS/BDS
(2) B.Tech/B.Arch
(3) B.A (Hons)/B.Sc (Hons)/B.Com (Hons)
(4) M.A/M.Sc
How to apply:-
The candidates should ensure that they are correctly filling in the Form for seeking admission to a particular Course in the University during the Academic Session 2008 -2009.
The prescribed Application Forms and the Guide to Admissions 2008-2009 containing details of Courses may be downloaded from the following Website : www.amucontrollerexams.com
The Registration and Admission Test Fee / Processing Charges (non -refundable) as mentioned against each Course is to be remitted through a Ca sh Receipt in favour of the Finance Officer, AMU, Aligarh through any branch of State Bank of India (SBI) directly to State Bank of India, AMU, Aligarh Branch using C.A/c No 30319186026. The amount can also be remitted from any Bank using SWIFT CODE N 005555 and C. A/c No 30319186026 SBI AMU, Aligarh Branch. However, in exceptional cases the amount may be remitted through Demand Drafts drawn in favour of Finance Officer, AMU, Aligarh payable at SBI AMU, Aligarh. Application Form can be sent by Registered Post Speed Post or through Courier so as to reach up to 5 p.m. on or before the last date to the respective Offices as given under the heading “Submission of Application Form”.
Incomplete Application Forms, those received late, without requisit e fee and not supported with the required certificates / documents shall be rejected and no further correspondence shall be entertained in this regard.
The Demand Drafts issued from the following Associate Banks of State Bank of India towards payment of any admission fee will not be accepted.
i) State Bank of Bikaner & Jaipur
ii) State Bank of Patiala
iii) State Bank of Indore
iv) State Bank of Saurashtra
v) State Bank of Mysore
vi) State Bank of Travancore
vii) State Bank of Hyderabad
Test Centres for MBBS / BDS / B.Tech. / B.Arch. / Diploma in
Engineering and Class XI (all streams)
(a) Aligarh (Uttar Pradesh)
(b) Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh)
(c) Kozhikode (Kerala)
(d) Kolkata (West Bengal)
(e) Pune (Maharashtra)
Candidates are required to indicate clearly in the column provided in Application Form the name of any one of the above Test Centres which they want to opt only for the above Courses. The other Admission Tests shall be held at Aligarh . However, the University reserves the right to allot any Test Centre irrespective of the preference indicated without assigning any reason.
