M.Com -Insurance and Bank Management

Department of studies in commerce ,Mangalore University introduces M.Com (Insurance and Bank Management), a new post graduate (Two year-Four semester) programme from the academic year 2009-10 at University college , Hampankatta , Mangalore.

Eligibility:

Candidates shall have passed the three year B.Com/BBM degree examination of Mangalore university or any other university considered as equivalent there with finance, accounting and taxation as one of the subjects, provided they have obtained not less than 45%(40% for SC/St and category I candidates) marks in the aggregate excluding language subjects.

Admission to the programming is on the basis of merit (on the basis of marks scored at the qualifying examination).

Course curriculum:

5 paper each in I & II semester.
6 papers each in III and IV semester. Dissertation and viva – voce in IV
semester.
