CARITOR RECRUITMENT PROCEDURE:
Five stages
1.Aptitude test – 45 questions - Puzzle type Books by R S Agarwal and Sakunthala Devi may be helpful, No technical questions.
2.Written communication (essay writing): Does not seem to be an elimination round
3.Group discussion: Mainly to check the candidates conversational ability in English. Mostly General Topics only.
4.Technical interview - Simple questions only.
5.HR Interview – Common and usual questions.
3i INFOTECH RECRUITMENT PROCEDURE:
Two Stages
I. Written test - consists of three parts:
1.English (50 questions,50 marks) 2.Quantitative aptitude (50 questions, 50 marks) 3.Logical Reasoning (50 questions, 50 marks) Total time:90 minutes Totally on the pattern of Bank Probationary Officers examination No puzzle type questions.

4. Technical Interview: Questions about the project done, Many questions from C ,C++ and Software Engineering,Generally direct questions to check the strength in basics
HCL Technologies Ltd:
Six Stages:
I. Written test - Two sections
1. Aptitude (50 questions) Data interpretation 20 questions, Puzzles, Passages and conclusions,Jumbled sentences and Aptitude questions. 2. Technical (25 questions) C (programmes on pointers), C++,RDBMS, Oracle, Computer fundamentals,Negative markings are resorted to. Time – 1 hour 45 minutes
II. Group Discussion with 15 in each group.
III. Group interviews - 1 interviewer and 5 interviewees.
IV. Technical and HR interviews- 1 to 1interview. Fundamental questions like features of oops, various keys in RDBMS, TCP/IP protocol, C++ program.
V. HR interview with a panel of 2:5 i.e. 2 interviewers and 5 interviewees.
VI. Managerial Round - This may or may not be gone through.
L & T INFOTECH:
Four Rounds:
1. Written Test – Generally questions on non-verbal reasoning. No questions in quantitative, aptitude or English,36 questions to be answered in 30 minutes, Book by R.S.Agarwal may be helpful, Negative marking is followed for blind guesses. Filling up of the application form, done at this stage, is very vital and important
2. Extempore – Generally speaking on any topic of the candidate’s choice for a few minutes, This is elimination round.
3. Technical interview - Mainly from resume submitted, DBMS , C/C++ and projects done so far or industrial training projects. General HR questions may also be asked
4. HR Interview.
