WIPRO TECHNOLOGIES:

1) Written test (verbal - 15, aptitude - 15, technical - 20)
Technical - C and UNIX commands and protocols.
2) Technical Interview Emphasis on C language.
3) HR Interview


ORACLE TECHNOLOGIES:

Three rounds:

1. Written Test : Aptitude questions(GRE type), C , Data structures, SQL
queries, DBMS, Unix,Elimination round.

2. Programming Test : C programs to be written. Generally involves Searching, Sorting and basics.

3. Interview : lasts 2- 3 hours.questions are on the topic chosen by
the candidate as his strong area. HR questions also form part of this.

Hewlet Packard(HP):

Three rounds:

1.Preliminary - consists of 4 sections - English, Reasoning, Aptitude and
Comprehension.

English - Articles, jumbled up sentences, synonyms & antonyms etc.
Reasoning
Aptitude- Time & distance, binary numbers, clocks - simple but lenghy
mathematical calculations.
Comprehension, This is the elimination round.

2. Technical Interview – C, C++, DBMS, SQL, Software engineering.

3. HR Interview – Simple questions, but lengthy.


SATYAM COMPUTER SERVICES:

Four Stages

1. Aptitude test - 15 questions,30 minutes.

2. Group Discussion - 12/14 member groups.

3. Technical Interview.

4. HR Interview.


VERIZON DATA SERVICES:

The main emphasis will be on the project only.
To write Fibonacci series program both with recursion and with out recursion and some puzzles in the end.


SYNTEL TECHNOLOGIES:

1. APTITUDE TEST:
Three sections Mathematics, Vocabulary and Logical Reasoning.

(b) English comprehension

2. Technical written test -20 Questions in 12 minutes - on Operating systems, Unix, Electronics (Abbreviations of TTL, CMOS, etc.,)

3. Group discussion

4. Technical & HR interview - Technical on OS, VHDL, C, C++, etc.,

5. HR interview – based on resume as well as the application form


SAPIENT TECHNOLOGIES:

Written Test Paper - I
Writing test cases for the different problems.

Paper - II
Reasoning, data interpretation and analytical skills

Paper - III
Essay writing on a Given Topic.

HR Interview.


POLARIS SOFTWARE:

1.Aptitude Test:
Analogy (35 Questions)
Quanatitative (45 Questions)
Verbal (40 Questions)
Totally, 120 Questions in 90 Minutes.

2. English Test – A bit higher than Spoken English but not difficult like
GRE English, Time – 15 minutes.

PEROT SYSTEMS:

Three rounds:

1. Aptitude Test Consists of 4 sections
i) Simple missing numbers in series – 20 Questions - 1mark each
ii) Data insufficiency problems - 20 Questions –2 marks each
iii) Problems on time and distance, boats, trains etc. – 15 Questions – 3 marks each.
iv) Given some flow charts and algorithms with I/P's need to find O/P's.
– 10 Questions - 5 marks each.

SUTHERLAND GLOBAL SERVICES:

Three stages:

I. Written Test

1) Communications Skill: The ability to speak in English will be tested.
2) Online Assessment:
This round is divided into two sections ( 40 questions in 40 minutes)
Listening Skills (20 Questions)
Technical Skills (Basic questions - 20 Questions in 20 minutes)

II. HR and Techincal Interview – To test the basic technical knowledge.

III. HR Interview
Absolutely essential requirement – Very good communication skills.
