Eyes always observe things that look bright and colorful. This is needed when we need to attract the viewer’s observation. But there are situations where we should not be observed or not be made visible.

Camouflage

Camouflage is a method or we can even say it as a trick used to avoid or skip the observation of an item without hiding it physically. The object will be present where you see, but you will not notice it and may even sometimes you cannot find that there is something.

Camouflage can be explained as a method which makes an object to merge with the surrounding or the background object so that the visibility of the specific object will be reduced to our view.

Animal and Insect Camouflage

There are many animals whose skin will change its color according to the place they stand and some creatures will have specific color as there habitat so that we cant find it easily even it its there in front of our eyes.

In the above shown picture there is a frog which is in a rock. Its color has been changed to match the color of the rock to make it invisible from the predators.

In the coming picture there is an insect sitting in a leaf of green plant. But when we just view it without any intention definitely we will not observe it.

Insect Camouflage

These are natural camouflage and these creatures use this to hide them from others animals or insects to protect them and sometimes this can be used to catch their prey by making them invisible.

Military Camouflage

There are man made camouflages too. Everybody knows about the color and design of the military uniform. It’s a mixture of green and brown designs. This is made because while the soldiers move in the forest or other thick bushes, their visibility will be less for the opponent soldiers. The color of their dress will merge with the bushes. This is the specific reason why military almost all around the world uses the same type of color and design for their uniform. But it is not that military always use green shade, it uses the color according to the field they crawl. Soldiers in desert will use brown shades and army in snow bound mountains will use white color shades and design for their uniform.
