ENTRANCE EXAMINATIONS FOR ADMISSION TO MEDICAL/AGRICULTURE/VETERINARY/ENGINEERING/ARCHITECTURE DEGREE COURSES, KERALA 2010 (KEAM 2010) Office of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations, Govt. of Kerala invited applications for the Entrance Examinations for admission to the following Degree Courses in various Professional Colleges in the State for 2010-11.
1- Medical Courses : (i) MBBS (ii) BDS (iii) BHMS (iv) BAMS (v) BSMS
2- Agriculture Courses : (i) BSc. Hons. (Agriculture) (ii) BFSc. (Fisheries) (iii) BSc. Hons. (Forestry)
3- Veterinary Courses : BVSc. & AH
4- Engineering Courses : B.Tech. [including B.Tech. (Agricultural Engg.) /B.Tech. (Dairy Sc. & Tech.) courses under the Kerala Agricultural University]
5- Architecture Course : B.Arch.
Eligibility for Applying Kerala Engineering and Medical Entrance Examination 2010 (KEAM 2010) a) Applicant should be an Indian citizen. Both Keralites and Non-Keralites are eligible to apply for the Entrance Examination.
b)Academic Qualifications for Applying Kerala Engineering and Medical Entrance Examination 2010 (KEAM 2010)
(i) Medical/Agriculture/Veterinary Courses : Should have passed the Higher Secondary Examination or examination recognized as equivalent thereto, with 50% marks in Biology, and 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology put together
(ii) Engineering Courses : Should have passed Higher Secondary Examination, Kerala or examinations recognized as equivalent thereto, with 50% marks in Mathematics separately, and 50% marks in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry/Bio-technology/ Computer Science/Biology put together are eligible for admission.
(iii) Architecture Course : Candidates who have passed 10+2 Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination or examinations recognized as equivalent thereto, with Mathematics as a subject of examination, with 50% marks in aggregate / Candidates who have passed 10+3 Diploma (any stream) recognised by Central/State Governments with 50% aggregate marks / Candidates with International Baccalaureate Diploma, after 10 years of schooling, with not less than 50% marks in aggregate and with Mathematics as compulsory subject of examination are eligible to apply. In addition, candidates will have to score 40% marks (80 marks out of 200) in the NATA (National Aptitude Test in Architecture).
c) The candidate should complete 17 years of age as on 31st December, 2010.
Application Form for Kerala Engineering and Medical Entrance Examination 2010 (KEAM 2010) The Application form and Prospectus are available from 07.12.2009 to 06.01.2010 at selected branches of Post Offices in Kerala andoutside the State. The amount towards the fee of application is to be remitted in cash at the Post Offices.
Only one application need be submitted for the entrance examinations for ?admission to one or more of medical, agriculture, veterinary, engineering and ?architecture courses.

How to Apply for Kerala Engineering and Medical Entrance Examination 2010 (KEAM 2010) Facility for applying online for Kerala Engineering and Medical Entrance Examination 2010 (KEAM 2010): Candidates who do not claim any reservation benefit and those belonging to Non-Keralite category can apply ‘Online’ through the website‘www.cee-kerala.org’. On successful submission of the data online, an application number will be generated. The candidates should take a print out of this application. The application fee Rs.700/- can be remitted in any branch of State Bank of Travancore (SBT) using the chalan contained in the print out of the application or attach a Demand Draft for Rs.700/- drawn on a Nationalized Bank in favour of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations payable at Thiruvananthapuram.
The filled in Application Form along with the OMR DATA SHEET and other relevant documents, to be submitted with the Application Form, are to be sent in the printed envelope bearing the address of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations supplied along with the application form, so as to reach him before 5 p.m. on 06.01.2010 (Wednesday), by Hand Delivery/Registered Post/Speed Post.
