NATIONAL CONFERENCE ON Advances in Robotics, Precision Engineering And Manufacturing Techniques.
(March 14th & 15th 2008)
About the Conference:
Robotics play an increasingly important role in the global economy and in daily experience engineers strive to combine automated devices with increasing quality and plexibilities in the Engineering Process.
AIRPAM-08 aims to deliberate the contemporary developments and the emerging issues in the area of robotics, precision engineering and manufacturing techniques and update our knowledge.
Keeping in view the above issues the present conference has been planned and it is expected that it will be of huge interest to manufactureness, Enterpreneurs and academicians. Research scholars and students for learning and acquiring more knowledge to fulfil the speeds of the day.
Objectives:
One of the aims of AIRPAM-2008 is to serve as a meeting point for exchange of information in this rapidly growing field of activity. The objective is to bring together specialists and practitioners from industry, government and academic and to provide a forum for exchange of ideas. The Conference will emphasize discussions as much as presentations and the participations are encouraged to identify areas needing further research.
Keynote & Invited Lectures:
Eminent persons from academics and industries will be presenting Keynote/invited Lectures on current topics of interest in robotics, Precision Engineering and Manufacturing Techniques.
Abstract of Paper:
Papers/case studies are invited from teachers, researchers and engineers in the field of Robotics, precision engineering and Manufacturing techniques.
Interested persons are requested to send an extended abstract in about 300 words to the convener on or before 08.2.2008. Acceptance of paper is subject to review by a panel of experts: The acceptance will be communicated to the authors by 10.02.2008.

Delegates from Academic Institutions: Rs.1000/-
Students and Research Scholars : Rs.500/-
For each accepted paper to be published in proceedings, atleast one of the authors has to register for participation. The registration fees should be paid by Demand Draft in favour of “The Head, Department of Production Technology – MIT”, payable at Chennai. The Registration Fees include Conference Proceedings, working lunch and refreshments
