Nursing is the face of compassion in the field of healing and medical service. Indian nurses have made tremendous reputation at the global level. There are great oppurtunities of nursing at national as welll as international levels. After +2 with science i.e physics, chemistry and biology one can undergo 4 year or the 3 year general nursing and midwifery program, register in the nursing council and start professional work.

The requirement of nurses in countries like US at high salries runs to lakhs. One should prove their English proficiency test like the TOEFL or IELTS. They have to pass the CGFNS (The commission on graduates of foreign nursing schools)/ NCLEXN examination both of which can now be taken in INdia. Those who paas the GNM diploma can graduate by attending a two-year post basic course, after aquiring experience. These are nursing programs with various specialities. Men also have oppurtunities as nurses.

There are many prestigious and reputed institute in India which offer Nursing as a bachelor, master as well as diploma. More information about Nursing will be available on google or Wikipedia.
