How to behave in corporate world ?

Try to keep things cordial and friendly, but don't get too personal. Stay away from personal compliments unless you are complimenting a person's work or work style. Don't talk about your personal problems or your personal feelings toward any other co-worker. Definitely do not date co-workers. Only those who show that they know how to behave properly and professionally will be promoted.... Even if you see something that makes you think otherwise... make this your rule.
Don't talk about how much you drank over the weekend, don't talk about girl/guy/friend troubles......people love that stuff.
Just keep it professional and you will be fine. You can still have fun at work, just leave your personal life out of any and all conversations, and when other people are talking about others, just do your work.

Some people criticize no matter what. It does not matter which side you are on, they are always on the other side. They have made a career out of criticizing. They are "career critics." They criticize as if they will win a prize at a contest. They will find fault with every person and every situation. You will find people like this in every home, family, office.
They go around finding fault and telling everybody how bad things are and blaming the whole world for their problems. We have a name for these people. They are called energy suckers. They will go to the cafeteria and drown themselves in 20 cups of tea and coffee and smoke to their hearts' content with one excuse: they are trying to relax. All that they are doing is causing more tension for themselves and for others around them.
They spread negative messages like a plague and create an environment conducive to negative results.
Robert Fulton invented the steamboat. On the banks of the Hudson River he was displaying his new invention. The pessimists and the skeptics were gathered around to observe. They commented that it would never start. Lo and behold, it did. As it made its

some more tips,from my years at the mncs

1. stay cool,behave cool,never try to prove your talent in front of a senior,if you have any idea,implement it and then show to them
2.Follow the company policy strictly- dont save mp3 songs or never install any freeware without proper workflow permission
3.Use the company mail system efficiently,avoid sending un-offcial mail from offial mail id.
4.never leave before your boss leaves.

These are not offial points ,but these are practiced. Corporate practice is more practical then bookish knowledge! act according to surrounding.remeber- if you ar in Rome,you have to behave like a Roman !
