About Bharatiya Vidya Mandir School
Bharatiya Vidya Mandir was started to serve the cause of education to students of Pollachi on 11 June, 1986. The inaguration of the school
was a simple formal function with Dr. Thuljaram Rao the then president of Bharatiya Vidya Bhavab Kendra, Coimbatore and Dr. B.K. Krishnaraj
Vanavarayar, Patron of the school, introducing the new school to the public as the institution aiming to impart education for all the round
development of the child and giving the students the environment to grow imbibing the values of Bharatiya Culture. The institution is managed by Agathur ambal Education Foundation and the Managing Trustees are Mr. A. Senthilkumar Kalingarayar and Mrs. Shantha Kalingarayar. The school started with 110 students in LKG to Std. II. Classes grew every year steadily with an addition of one higher class and in the year 1995, the school reached its full fledged status of a Higher Secondary School now educating 2000 students from LKG to Std XII.
