As per the instructions given by Tony,Editors are not supposed to show that they are not happy with the decision of ISC in forums that is why I am making this post here.
Well I know as an editor I should be concentrating more on the growth of ISC,but this is somewhat related to it.
This is the second time I am not selected as the "member of the week",when as per me I think I truely deserve it.
Earlier,The result was announced 4-5 days later and due to some confusion,I was not selected and was told that in future I'll be considered for this as I am relatively a new member whereas in the description of this reward it is clearly mentioned that new members will be given preference...That time I had the maximum number of points for the week and webmaster clearly mentioned that my posts are good.
Now this time as well I had the maximum number of points for the week other then a member named srinath who was the winner for the last week
Now either he was supposed to be selected for this week's award too as he truely deserves it for the consecutive time,but other then him I had the second highest points along with posts that I can assure are neither duplicate entries nor done to earn some fake points..
I just want to know the opinion of other editors/webmasters here as to why I was not selected for it??
And plzz don't mention things like "don't worry you will certainly be considered some other time"..as I seriously want to have a genuine answer this time

I can say that you deserve award. However, there are several factors involved in selecting the winner. It is not just the points. There are various other ways members help us which are not publicly visible in the site. (But in this particular case, I am not sure that applies. You have been more helpful to ISC than the winner).
One reason for not choosing you is, you are an Editor and you are part of our team. When it comes to a selection from an Editor versus Member, it goes to the member to keep them encouraged. This is not meant to discourage the editors. We will definitely reward editors some or other way.
While I said all my justification for not selecting you, I have to accept that our selection process need to be improved. We are still far from perfect. We have lot of growing pains. You have been a great help in solving lot of our problems and together let us solve the problems.
