this is a question based on numerical reasoning...
A motorist knows 4 different routes from Bristol to Birmingham. From Birmingham to Sheffield, he knows 3 different routes and from Sheffield to Carlisle, he knows 2 different routes. how many routes does he know from Bristol to Carlisle?
a. 4 b.8 c. 12 d.24
ans: d.24
{total number of routes from Bristol to Carlisle=4*3*2=24}

an enterprising businessman earns an income of re.1 on the first day of his business. On every subsequent day, he earns an income which is just double of that made on the previous day. On the 10th day of business, his income is:
a)Rs. 2^9 b)Rs.2^10 c)Rs.10 d)Rs.1062
ans:a)2^9
[income on the first day= Re.1
income on the 2nd day = Rs.(1*2)=Rs.2^1
income on the 3rd day = Rs.((2^1)*2)=2^2 and so on
thus, income on the nth day=2^(n-1)
therefore, income on the 10th day= Rs.2^9]

since this is the first time general aptitude is being included, i've got no idea how the questions are going to appear...

If u refer Bank Examination coaching books,MAT books along with the RS agarwal, it will help u in the exam. Once u praepare,If u get the old Bank exam papers, try to solve those papaers in the fixed time duration. it will definitely help u get through.. All the best.
