SNTI-Shavak Nanavati Technical Institute,the erstwhile Jamshedpur technical institute,was established in the year 1921 to provide the technically qualified human resource for tata steel.it was the inspiration of the founder of TISCO ,"Let the Indians learn to do things by themselves", which came into reality by the establishment of the institute.today SNTI forms an integral part of the HR management division of TATA STEEL.It has rendered commendable service in nation development of technical manpower not only for tata steel, but also for the steel plants in the public sector and other manufacturing industries.
PRODUCT AND SERVICES
1)pre-employment:-graduate enng trainee,system trainee,junior engineer& trade apprentices
2)post-employment:- for the employees of the company
3)External programmes :-the pg students of IITs.MCA,MBA students are providedsix month project work.
&also vacation training are given in the month of May-June every year
