Bharathiar University
Bharathiar University is one of the best universities of Tamil Nadu, India. The university is located in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. Bharathiar University caters the educational needs of students belonging to Coimbatore and Tamil Nadu. It was established by the Government of Tamilnadu under Bhartiar University Act, 1981 in the year 1982. It has been named after Subramania Bharathi, a great national poet. Educate to elevate is the motto of the university. It has jurisdiction in Coimbatore, Erode and the Nilgiris districts of Tamilnadu.
It offers various graduate and post graduate programmes in Science, Management and Computer Science to the students. Bharathiar University admission notification releases in the month of May/June. For management and computer science post garduate programmes, you need to appear in entrance exam conducted by TANCET. Bharathiar University distance education programme is available for them who cannot attend the classes regularly but want to study further. Bharathiar University exams are conducted twice in a year.
