About Jain University Sri Bhagawan Mahaveer Jain College is now Jain University; It is declared deemed to be University under section 3 of the UGC act, 1956 by the ministry of Human Resources Development of the Union Government vide notification no: F.9 – 57 (2007). In 2008, SBMJC was reaccredited by NAAC. The institution secured the highest standing, Grade A with a CGPA of 3.8 on a scale of 4. It is a member of the prestigious Jain Group of Institutions, headquartered in Bengaluru.
