About Biramangol College
Biramangol College, Sawombung was established in 1973 and its initial name was North East Manipur College. The name changed into Biramangol College in 1980 and it got affiliated with Manipur University.
The college is spread on 15 acres of land where the college buildings like Arts Block, Science Block with Laboratories, Administration Block, Library Block, Sericulture BLock(sponsored by UGC) are located. The college follows the co-education system and offers courses in Arts, Science, and Commerce streams. The college library has a collection of a good number of books, periodicals and study, and reference aids.
