About Sri Devaraj URS Nursing College
SDUMC has been established in Tamaka, a rural district of Kolar, 6 km from Kolar town on the roadside of national highway No 4. Kolar is around 60 km from Bangalore city and is well connected both by rail & road from Bangalore.
The students are sent outside Kolar for gaining clinical experience in Pediatric, Psychiatric nursing etc., to different institutions. They are also sent for orientation program to different specialized institutions at Bangalore. E.g.: NIMHANS , JAYADEVA Institute of Cardiology, KIDWAI Institute of Oncology etc. The institutions attached to Sri R. L. Jalappa Hospital with 750 beds. The hospital has all the facilities and specialized departments with modern equipment's/gadgets
