About Annoor Dental College & Hospital
Annoor Dental College and Hospital was established in Kerala as a result of the hard work of late Janab T. M. Seethy. It is now more than 15 years old and has shown excellent growth in the field of technology, student performance, etc.
Facilities and Infrastructure The college has a beautiful green campus with a structured plantation. The main attraction of any educational institute is its library and the library of Annoor Dental College is located on the second floor with an excellent collection of around 2700 books, more than 50 journals, and periodicals. It has subscriptions for some newspapers, e-journals, etc. The library is very spacious with two separate sections for undergraduate and post-graduate students. It can accommodate around 200 students at a time.
There is a big auditorium with the capacity to accommodate around 700 people. It is used for assembly, guest lectures, cultural activities, and other events like competitions, and celebrations. It is equipped with a light and sound system, a stage, and comfortable seating arrangements.
A lecture theatre is also available in the college with a seating capacity of 80 students. It is used for webinars hence is having an in-built screen, Wi-Fi connectivity, and a data projector.
Inside the main building, there is a big, open area serving as a canteen for students and staff. It offers all sorts of refreshments and meals at very reasonable rates. Students use this area to relax, discuss projects, and for healthy bonding.
To support physical fitness, there is a separate Physical Education Department in the college. Various sports activities including inter-Dental fest are getting conducted in this department every year. Facilities for yoga and sports like Badminton, football, basketball, etc are available here for students.
There is an Anti-ragging Cell and Women's Empowerment Cell in the college to restrict the ragging and other related activities on the campus and to support women's education respectively.
For accommodation, there are separate hostels for boys and girls inside the campus with all the basics facilities including proper water and electricity supply, a mess for food (both vegetarian and non-vegetarian), etc.
Admissions The College offers graduate and postgraduate-level courses in Dentistry and applications can be submitted online, but before submitting the application, check for your eligibility (available on the college website), and if find yourself eligible, keep the personal and academic details ready with you including NEET scores.
