About Budge Budge Institute of Technology
Overview
The Budge Budge Institute of Technology is situated in Nischintapur, South 24 Parganas in the state of West Bengal. It is running under the aegis of Jagannath Gupta Family Trust. It is a private self-financing institute. The main objective of this college is to produce result-oriented and skilled professionals to meet the ever-growing demands of industries.
In short, the BBIT intends to provide quality education to the students on which the country can depend. To effectively fulfill the technological requirements, the curriculum is up to date with the latest syllabus. In turn, it is helping to fulfill the requirements of research institutes and industries of the country and the student's education is helping them to improve their quality of life.
Aims and Objectives
Some of the aims and objectives of this institute are as follows: - Latest technology to meet the demands of front-end industries.
- High student teacher ratio to ensure extra attention is given to each students
- Impart personality traits in students to ensure bright career
- Expose the students to industrial climate and practical problems
- Encourage participation in co-curricular activities

| Infrastructure and Facilities
To make the college lectures more interesting and interactive all the classrooms are well equipped with audio-visual aids which include LCD screens, overhead projectors, microphones, and amplifiers. and all other necessary equipment that assists the professors. Moreover, the campus has 24-hour uninterrupted electricity as well as a power supply which is very helpful to students.
For the students on a residential basis, there is separate girls' and boys' hostel. Students can opt for sharing based on their convenience. For the boys' hostel, there is accommodation with a single, and double bed with an attached bath, and 3 bed and 6 bed with a common bath is available. Whereas in the girls' hostel, there is accommodation with two bedrooms with an attached bath and three beds and four beds with a common bath. Mess is managed by a contractor whose choice is in the hands of the management and provides vegetarian as well as non-vegetarian diets.
For the convenience of students, there are in-house ATMs and banking facilities available so that students are not required to rush out. For the physical development of students and to rejuvenate them there are sports and other facilities available which inculcate qualities of teamwork and sportsmanship in them. This includes a playground, grassy lawn, lawn tennis, basketball, a modern swimming pool and a gymnasium.
