This city Bharuch is known for chemical industries over the world. The institute was established as Government polytechnic in 1961 & later on known as Shri Krishanalal Jhaveri Polytechnic.
The institute presently offers Diploma in Civil, Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Diploma in computer Aided costume design and dress making(for Girls only).
