About Hindu College of Engineering
The Sonepat Hindu Education and Charitable Society, Sonepat, was established in the year 1914 by a few businessmen to impart education to the people of Sonepat, a small town and backward area of Punjab in undivided India, with a population not exceeding ten thousand. Shri Shibbamal Agarwal, an industrialist and philanthropist, donated a large piece of land, a building known as 'Zanana Hospital' Female Hospital and a huge amount in cash for the establishment of Shibba Mal Hindu High School. The Society started functioning under the managerial guidance of Shri Panna Lal Agarwal who guided it for over two decades
