VIPS is established in 1998.
VIPS Chairman name is : Swami Jitatmananda ji (M.Sc. (Physics) and MA (English Literature) from Presidency College, Kolkata).
VIPS has spacious, well-furnished and fully Air Conditioned classrooms having a capacity of 80 to 100 students. VIPS has a modern specialized well-stocked library up-to-date with a substantial coverage of books on Information Technology, Law and Journalism.

Academic Programmes at VIPS is as following:-
1. Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA) - a 3 year degree program.
2. Bachelor of Law (LL.B. Hons) - a 5 year degree program.
