Students are from across the State and is staying there with a group, or with villagers. The main courses are Computer Hardware Maintenace, Telecommunication Technology and Applied Electronics. Institute having a bus, that is the life line of students and staff to access the college other than regular transports.
Mattakkara is a beautiful place, calm and quite, quiet away and equy distance from the towns Kottayam and Pala.
